I hope all of you are safe inside your house. The lockdown in India has extended longer, taking into account the current scenario.
So, even if we have loads of time, there are occasions where you don’t really want to invest lot of cooking, considering the amount of data that is available on Netflix.
Today’s video is just for those days and for that time.

Moong Khichadi
1 cup of split moong
1 cup of rice
1 sliced onion
4 greenchillies

Wash split moong daal and rice thoroughly set it aside Take a cooker add 3 tsp of ghee add 1 sliced onion add 4 greenchillies slit from the middle sauté that well add washed rice and moong sauté that well add 3 and half cups of water if cooked in a cooker otherwise 4 cups Give it 3 whistles your rice is ready serve hot with pickle, kadi, buttermilk.

Masala Bhaat

1 cup of rice Ginger-garlic-green chili paste
1 onion
3 tsp of ghee
Spices

Soak rice for 45 mins Heat a cooker/ vessel add ghee add spices( 2 cloves, 2 cardomn, 3 bay leaves 1/4 piece of cinnamon) add ginger-garlic-green chili paste add sliced onion add rice sauté well add 1 1/2 cup of water whistle as usual your rice is ready serve hot with pickle.


Rice pongal
1 cup of moong daal
1 cup of rice

I did not dry roast as I did not have time, but will mention the recipe by dry roasting it as that is more flavorful
Wash moong daal and rice thoroughly set it aside.
Take a cooker/ vessel add washed moong daal dry roast it add washed rice dry roast all together then add 6-7 cups of water, it is better to keep the consistency fluidly once cooked add the tempering For Tempering add ghee mustard seeds urad daal, peppercons, dry red chilly, cashew nuts fry all well and then add it to the rice and daal mix well your rice is ready serve hot with pickle, coconut chutney, tomato chutney.
